On my way to Zark's Katipunan, I was nervous, may be I'm setting myself to disappointment, like the photos are just as good as it's gonna get. I purposely placed my expectations lower than usual so that I would not experience any form of disappointment and regret, hey, better to play safe than to be sorry in the end. As each building moment passed, the more anxious I was to have that scrumptious looking burger in my mouth, the more I thought of it, the more hungry I got. I haven't even decided what to order yet, I was keeping my "cool" vibe on (if ever I even have a cool vibe). Finally, when we got there (me and my sister) I felt a part of me jumping with joy, I was overly excited, but since my sister was with me, again, I played it "cool". When we got there, it was about two o'clock in the afternoon, people had their orders on the table and to my surprise, it looked EXACTLY (if not better) like the picture, so I had a boost of confidence that I would not be disappointed. My sister and I sat on our table, looked at the menu and contemplated on what would our first Zark's Burger be... I got the CANDY BACON BURGER and she ordered the JACKHAMMER :

The JACK HAMMER was the perfect mixture of ruggedness and creaminess because of the cheeses stuffed in the patty, it was like a surprise at every bite! That was sooo good. As I write this, I couldn't help but remember the exact feeling that I had when the patty landed on my palette. My goodness, it was DELICIOUS. At your first bite, you'd taste the smokey goodness of the beef patty followed by a punch of creaminess and savory saltiness of the cheese.Slices of tomatoes and lettuce on the burger helped balance out what seems to be an explosion of flavor in your mouth, it was PERFECT. When I had a bite of this, I felt like all these delectable luscious flavors were dancing elegantly in my mouth, it was a shindig of flavors. What an experience!
The CANDY BACON BURGER also took me by surprise, I personally am a bacon lover (who isn't?) which was obviously why I tried this burger, okay, being a bacon lover means that I had my fair share of caramelized bacon, but my goodness, I never had anything like this before! The sweetness and saltiness of the bacon blended perfectly together. I felt like I was in the front row of the best symphony orchestra as they play the most perfect moonlight sonata ever. It was soooo good. Everything just blended together so well, the patty, the bacon, the bread which is also delicious by the way because of how the sweetness of the bacon managed to influence the fluffly-taste of the bread. Everything was DELECTABLE.
Oh, and by the way, let me just place a quick comment on the fries, it too was also good, it was thick and dense which proves there is no form of deceit. It was pure flavor with no holds barred. It was really good. The food is wonderfully delicious, affordable and the service is awesome.
Overall, I had a WONDERFUL experience, it was my first time to have Zark's and for sure, it won't be my last, I have a strong feeling that Zark's Burger and I will have one heck of a relationship. See you soon Zark's! THANK YOU for giving me another AWESOME EXPERIENCE. Till next time!
